Dealing with Negative People | Coffeetalk With Basschick

Nobody is perfect and even if you are the nicest person in the world there will still be people that aren’t very fond of you. It doesn’t mean that you did something wrong that has people being negative towards you.

We live in a society filled with cyber bullies, keyboard warriors and people who can hide behind a computer screen berating people. It is easy to leave a negative comment on someone’s video or photo because it doesn’t require much effort and thought. You don’t know this person so what is the harm in leaving a negative or disrespectful comment. Well it can have a toll on someone if they are trying to turn their life into something more positive or are trying to make it in a hard world.

I get a lot of negative comments on my cover videos and Bass Musician Magazine videos a lot and I don’t know if it is because I am in a more male dominated aspect of bass guitar and music or what but some people can just be down right mean.

There’s a difference between constructive criticism and being down right rude. I know a lot of social media influencers, YouTubers, Instagramers and anyone with a social platform receives a lot of hate and criticism. I think it is time to stop spreading hate and being bullies online because even negative words can have a little bit of an impact on someone.

Stop the hate and spread the love.
